An anniversary gondola ride with Black Swan Gondola Company in San Diego County starts at $129 for two guests on Saturdays and $139 any other day. Sunset is $179 Sunday to Friday and $199 Saturday, and Enchanted Evening after dark is $159. Every ride is private and lasts 50 minutes.

What is the best time for an anniversary ride?

Sunset is our most popular ride for anniversaries, and after dark is just as romantic. The Sunset Cruise is $179 Sunday to Friday and $199 Saturday, and Enchanted Evening is $159. Both run on the lake in North County San Diego, and sunset and weekend slots fill first, so book ahead.

Can we bring champagne for our anniversary?

Yes. Bring your own champagne, wine or dessert with no corkage fee. We have openers on board but no glasses or ice, so bring your own glasses. Amalfi Cucina Italiana, an Italian restaurant, is right next to our dock in North County San Diego for dinner before or after.

Can we add something special to our anniversary ride?

Yes. At checkout you can add a message in a bottle with your own note, an Italian gondola necklace, a rose bouquet, or rose petals with a long-stem rose. Each one is optional, and every Black Swan Gondola Company ride already includes romantic music and blankets on board.

Is the ride just for the two of us?

Yes. Every Black Swan Gondola Company ride is a private boat for your party only, never shared with strangers. The price covers two guests, and a boat holds up to six if you want to bring family or friends for $30 per extra guest. Your gondolier rows while you relax for 50 minutes.

What if it rains on our anniversary?

Black Swan Gondola Company rides go out rain or shine, so the date you booked is the date you get. All sales are 100% non-refundable, and changing your date carries a $100 rescheduling fee. Blankets are on board, so dress for the weather and plan on a cozy ride.

Can I give an anniversary gondola ride as a gift?

Yes. Gift certificates for Black Swan Gondola Company rides are available from the Gift Certificates link at the top of our website, so you can surprise your partner with a private 50-minute ride in San Diego County.

Our gondolier was very kind, respectful and lighthearted. Getting to see actual black swans on the lake was a huge plus. Not to mention getting to go at night meant it was extremely peaceful.
